I don’t think he will take off for good if he came back once he will come back if he gets out again. I have mine under 3 strands of wire that’s it. Once they hit the wire most times they will never do it again. There is always that one though that will test it daily I have a goat like that. They are a big problem here in east TN. He will thrive on the neighbor’s garden your garden and will tear up the flora and fauna where he roams. When I was in junior high my family moved to the country and had many of these moments. Going from city-folk to country-folk is so hard and has so many mishaps.
