It’s SNOWING!!

>19 December 2009

Did you hear? The East Coast is getting all kinds of snow!! I think we have at least a foot of snow this morning. Big flakes started falling yesterday, and continued all through the night. Me and Jada went outside to catch snowflakes on our tongues…

The animals, however, were quite content to stay huddled together inside! We made sure to give them warm water so it wouldn’t freeze so quickly.

Baby Xia was glad to stay warm too!

When the kids were too cold to play any longer, they came in for some homemade hot chocolate. Jada said she was afraid Jack Frost had gotten her toes!

Great photos! We’re expecting significant snowfall here in NJ, but it’s not here yet. Actually, I’m hoping it takes a detour and doesn’t get here at all!

Yea, if we move just a few miles north we would of gotten some snow. All we got here was the dreaded south carolina winter snow…sleet :(
Glad your family got to enjoy it!

Sounds like you had a ton of fun. I miss Colorado Springs and the snow – it’s so RARE around here. But since the kids aren’t really getting any presents for Christmas – snow would be a fun diversion for them! LOL (Not that they need anything, Tim’s side of the family will get them enough.)

I wish I had my camera, Joel is tickling LaRue’s chin and she’s doing that “whole body” giggles back at him. Too precious.

You have a beautiful family. Hugs to you all! Merry Christmas!
