Kielbasa and Applesauce (Medium)

We LOVE this sweet recipe!!

Kielbasa with Applesauce

  • 2 lbs. Kielbasa
  • 35 oz. chunky applesauce
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Cut Kielbasa into 1″ slices. Mix with remaining ingredients. Pour into a casserole dish, and bake at 350* for 1 – 1 1/2 hours or until brown on top. You can also cook it in the crockpot on low for about 4 hours.

Wow thats a long cooking time! Any particular reason? I usually heat mine up on the stove real quick, hopefully I havent been potentially poisoning myself!

Another recipe if youre interested (and given yours has applesauce I think youll be open to mine hehe) I cook mine up in spicy brown mustard and apricot jam. No measurements, just to taste lol its delicious!
