Piggy Paint… “Natural as Mud”

Have you guys heard of Piggy Paint yet? I just recently found it, and was fortunate enough to get a chance to try it out this past week. Piggy Paint is an all natural line of nail polish and remover, made from non-toxic, odorless ingredients. Of course, it was a genius Stay-at-Home Mom who came up with this kid-friendly product!

Jada's Painted PiggiesSeeing as my daughter is a major nail biter, I love the fact that there are no harsh chemicals in this nail polish that I would have to worry about her ingesting. Plus, a pretty pink polish is a great incentive (you say “bribe”, I say “incentive“) for her to stop her bad biting habit!

I know you are used to seeing Jada covered from head to toe with dirt, holding a chicken or something… but, we thought we’d have fun being “girly” this night! What little princess can resist hot pink polish and a pretty dress?

When Jada saw the name of the new nail polish, she asked, “Do you think Porkchop would like to have her nails painted?” Yeah, you’d like to see me try that, wouldn’t you?! Silly girl, this paint isn’t for those kinds of piggies!

After having painted my daughter’s nails with this polish twice now, I am able to say that although Piggy Paint is lacking all of the synthetic chemicals that most polishes are made up of, it is not lacking in color or quality! After blow-drying Jada’s nails for a minute or so, the polish was dry and beautiful, and ready to go! The nail polish remover did take a little bit longer to remove the paint, but I’ll trade a little patience for safety any day.

The ladies over at Piggy Paint have decided to offer my readers an exclusive coupon code good on any of their products, even sale items!

Use code: NEW10L for 10% off any order through June 30, 2010

You may notice that the prices are a little high compared to other brands ($8.99/bottle), but when you consider the quality and safety of the polish, in my opinion, I’d rather spend an extra couple of dollars for something that won’t harm my child over some cheap product full of who-knows-what! Definitely something I’d put on Jada’s birthday list (hint hint to my family)!

Don’t forget to follow Piggy Paint on Twitter and Facebook for secret sales and special offers!

If you’ve tried Piggy Paint, I’d love to know what you think about it!!
