Listen In This Friday Evening: New Life On A Homestead Show #1 On Prepper Podcast Radio

>13 January 2011 1,786 views

I’m so excited to announce my first ever broadcast of the New Life On A Homestead Show on Prepper Podcast Radio Network. Every Friday evening at 9pm EST I will be hosting an hour long discussion covering all aspects of the homestead life.

This Friday, January 14th I’ll be talking more in depth about just what the term “homesteading” means, and how anybody anywhere can do it. I’ll also be opening up the phone lines to anyone who wants to share why they’ve chosen to homestead, and to take any questions from callers.

For more information on how to tune in, the phone number into the show, and to join in the discussion in the live chat room where my husband will be helping me answer questions, please check out: Prepper Podcast Radio Network.

Hope to see you there!

I think this is the same radio podcast where I heard Wardeh of GNOWFGLINS. I look forward to hearing your interview.

I think this is great. I will be tuning in. I think some videos on youtube and/or UStream would also be good.

Okay totally stupid question, but does podcast mean I have to listen to it on an i-pod of some sort? Please forgive me, I am tech challenged, LOL ;)

    Lacey,

Totally not a stupid question… I wasn’t sure at first either! No, you can listen to it on your computer, or you can call the number and listen over your phone. :)

    Tony,

Thanks! Yeah, I definitely have been wanting to make more YouTube videos, and put a link to them on my sidebar. It’s all in the master plan :) I appreciate your suggestions!

Is there a way to listen to it after it’s over? I would love to hear it but we have plans & I will miss it :(

    Brook,

I think you can go back and listen to it later. I know that with my interview a little while ago you could go back and listen to it… actually, I’m pretty sure it’s still there. I believe you just click on the episode number and the podcast will begin playing.

Can’t listen tonight, but hope to catch it later–good luck!!

LOL…I was talking with my husband and got this, “OH MY GOSH, I AM MISSING IT” feeling…looked at the clock…it was only 7:30pm…still have time.

LOL, thanks for supporting me, Jessica!!!!!!

Wow. That was the longest hour I’ve ever tried to talk IN MY LIFE. I hope I didn’t bore everyone with my rambling, lol!! :)

Kendra, I loved it. I love how transparent you are about not knowing everything about homesteading. I think a lot of us feel like we are so far behind others who have been homesteading for years. We are all on a journey and I appreciate you sharing the things you don’t know and want to learn. I am really excited about having a regular show to listen to. :)

Thank you so much Mona! Hopefully I’ll get better at this radio thing with time :)
