Monday’s Homestead Barn Hop #53
Hey guys!! I’m so glad you could join me, Jill, Amy, and Kelly for another fun-filled Homestead Barn Hop! It has been so inspiring visiting everyone’s homesteads and seeing what you’ve all been up to! Keep the great ideas coming!
This past week I’ve been busy trying to get ready for Spring… and taking care of four sick kiddos. Baby Elias is especially pitiful with his little cough and runny nose. It just breaks a mama’s heart to see her little ones feeling run down. It’s times like these when I’m glad we kept a tv for the occasional movie! The kids enjoy being able to watch some of their favorite videos while they rest.
We have a new chicken coop coming along! I’m still trying to decide how I want to paint it. I’ll show it to ya when we’re all done. I’ll also update you on the garden this week!
What have you been up to around your home place? Link up below and share what’s new!

Thank you so much for hosting this! It has once again been a pleasure to join.

Good luck with your chicken coop painting project!! We just got a clearance can of paint that was mixed wrong at the hardware store for the exterior. For the interior, I do a DE ‘whitewash’… we’ve never had a pest problem! The whitewashing can be a pain, but it’s worth it for not having to deal with red mites.
I’m curious what a DE whitewash is? Do share!!
I just adore hearing from my readers, so don't be shy!! Although I may not be able to respond to every single comment, I do read and appreciate every word of them. Knowing I have an audience keeps me writing, so take a moment to say hello and share what's on your mind!
