Monday’s Homestead Barn Hop #66
Good Monday morning to ya! Thanks for joining the Barn Hop ladies, Amy from Homestead Revival, Jill from The Prairie Homestead, and myself, for another weekly round-up of linky love.
Wow! We’ve had such beautiful weather here this week! It’s been nice being able to get outside so much. And we’re just starting to get cucumbers, zucchini, and tomatoes from our garden, which is super exciting! I hope you’re making progress with your garden as well.
Today, I’d like to share one homesteader who linked up last week with her experience trying to break up a broody hen…
I was interested in reading How To Break A Broody. Or Not. over at 5 Acres & A Dream, particularly because we were just having the discussion of dunking broodies to break them up last week. Many people swear by this method, so I appreciated Leigh sharing her experience. You’ll have to go read her article to see how it worked out for her broody!
Thanks for sharing, Leigh!
Did you share anything “homesteading” on your blog this week? If so, we’d love to have you link up below! Even if you don’t have a blog, we always welcome your comments!
Please remember that the Homestead Barn Hop is meant to be a place to share homesteading related encouragement and inspiring ideas specifically related to homesteading. In an effort to keep our weekly round-up clutter free, links which are not specifically homestead related, and any promotions such as giveaways, contests, carnivals, etc, will be deleted in order to maintain the integrity of the Barn Hop. Please remember this is a family friendly link up. Any pictures or posts linked to the hop which aren’t appropriate for our children to view or read will also be deleted immediately. We’re pretty conservative, so we ask that you use good judgment and err on the side of caution.
Make sure that you link to your Barn Hop post, not your blog’s main page, so your guests won’t have any trouble finding your great tips!
We would also appreciate it if you would link back to the Homestead Barn Hop in the post that you share! Feel free to grab the banner at the top of this post to link back to us with.
Want a chance to be a “Featured Homestead” next week?
Be sure you’ve included the actual Barn Hop button on your post, with a link back to us. Thank you for sharing the message about the Homestead Barn Hop!

Thank you for letting us link up. I love to see what other homesteaders are doing. finding people of the same heart is really neat. It is fun to implament new ideas into our own homestead.
Thanks for hosting! I missed a week but I’m back this week at #223 – Asian Turkey Burgers. Enjoy!
I just adore hearing from my readers, so don't be shy!! Although I may not be able to respond to every single comment, I do read and appreciate every word of them. Knowing I have an audience keeps me writing, so take a moment to say hello and share what's on your mind!
