A Creative Way To Reuse Worksheets

When I first started giving my child worksheets, I knew I didn’t want her writing directly in the books, I wanted to be able to use them for my other children when the time came. So, I resorted to making copies out of each book. Immediately I realized how much paper and ink I was wasting, as they were only thrown away once completed. There had to be a better way!

And then I discovered it. All you need is a plastic sheet protector, and a low-odor dry erase marker. Cut one side of the sheet protector so that it easily slides over the worksheet in your book, and let your child fill in the answers with a dry erase marker. Then, when she is done with the worksheet, simply erase the markings and slide the plastic sheet off and onto the next page.

Genius!

Brilliant! I have triplets that are 4 and, though I don’t need to save the books, I do need 3 at once instead of 1, this is a great idea!

I like this idea – especially since copying most workbooks is not legal. I always like creative ideas to reuse things legally. I usually have my children do it on a separate piece of paper, but this is way better.

    thanks,

So I love this Idea but how do I keep track of the work they are doing if it is always getting erased???

    Mom of 4,

I keep track of the pages my child does in a Subject notebook. Every day I write in the notebook which pages she has done in which books.

I just adore hearing from my readers, so don't be shy!! Although I may not be able to respond to every single comment, I do read and appreciate every word of them. Knowing I have an audience keeps me writing, so take a moment to say hello and share what's on your mind!
