My Favorite Math Curriculum

math books

I’ve used a lot of different math books, but Singapore Math is absolutely my favorite so far. It’s actually the only curriculum books I’ve purchased new, not from a yard sale or craigslist. They are about $9 a piece (which is a fortune compared to yard sale prices of .25 – .50 cents each!) but they are well worth it. Plus, if you don’t write in the book you can use it over and over, and then sell it when you are done. I’d highly recommend these books.

I have feel in love with Singapore this year myself. I blogged about my math woes. It was by chance that I decided to give them a try. It was about the only time I listened to a person suggestion at a curriculum fair and it paid off big time. Now math is no more tears.

Has anyone used Rightstart? I have a little, but just wondering how it compares to Singapore. Which one gets better overall results and is still mom-friendly? :)

I just adore hearing from my readers, so don't be shy!! Although I may not be able to respond to every single comment, I do read and appreciate every word of them. Knowing I have an audience keeps me writing, so take a moment to say hello and share what's on your mind!
