I love the Spelling City website (free). I use the Natural Speller for spelling lists, and then I set my children up with the Spelling City website for their activities.

We do a pretest on Monday. I get the words from books we are reading or our science unit (we’re science-oriented). We use these words throughout the week doing different activities. On Friday, he is tested on only the words he missed on Monday. We also include any new words on our word wall in the kitchen.
